Victor Harbor’s Wildlife, Best Bakery & Views

If you live or are traveling in Adelaide then Victor Harbor is the perfect day trip to take out of the city. Just under an hours drive from the CBD this coastal town has tonnes to offer with great beaches, wildlife experiences and one of South Australia’s most loved bakeries.

Urimbirra Wildlife Park

9am

Urimbirra Wildlife Park is one of the best wildlife parks in South Australia and truly a hidden gem. Personally, it’s probably my favourite; you can feed kangaroos, pat a koala, feed emus, and see hundreds of native Australian animals in this open range wildlife park in Victor Harbor. 10/10 must visit!

Port Elliot Bakery

1pm

Port Elliot Bakery is well known in South Australia as being one of the best bakeries we have. It is constantly updating their menu with some new wacky and interesting treats and always tasting amazing! Perfect spot for a lunch.

Victor Harbor Tramway

2pm

Taking you to Granite Island is the Victor Harbor Tramway. A horse-drawn tram from the mainland to the island along the causeway. You do not have to take this to get to the island but kids love this experience!

Granite Island

2:20pm

Granite Island is a little island off of Victor Harbor known for its small colony of wild Little Penguins. They might not be easy to see but the island still has an amazing walk along with a cute cafe. The island also has a Nature Park with dusk tours to spot these beautiful animals.
